Room is a fictitious novel published in 2010 that has won the New York Times Notable Book of the Year (Fiction & Poetry, 2010) and Goodreads Choice Awards Best Fiction (2010). It was inspired by story of 5-year-old Felix in the infamous 2008 Fritzl case. It is set to have a film adaption this year (2015) directed by Lenny Abrahamson.

A Game of Thrones is an epic fantasy book published in 1996 and the first of the A Song of Fire and Ice series. It rose to fame after HBO adapted a TV series in 2011, which is now coming into its 5th season. After its premiere the books rose to #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list in July 2011. It also has several spin-off games including a Telltale games series, a board and card game.
